The Dräger Interlock XT determines the breath alcohol concentration via an electro-chemical sensor system. This device is responsive to alcohol only.

Will an interlock device ever shut off my engine?
No. Our Interlock does not shut off a vehicle's engine, or stop it abruptly in its tracks. If a retest is failed, or if the retest is not presented when required, a violation will be recorded. The vehicle's horn may sound and the lights may flash until either the breath test is passed or the vehicle is turned off by the driver.

Will other people be able to drive my car?
Yes, however there is no way of verifying that you were not the person driving the vehicle. This means that you become responsible for everything that the unit records. If another person was driving the car you are still responsible for any consequences that arise if that person was drinking.

Can I install this on my motorcycle?
Yes, we can install an interlock on your motorcycle. Please contact us anytime to setup your appointment.

Is there a charge for failed tests?
Failed tests are recorded as violations. No, we do not charge for failed tests. Our competitors charge anywhere from $35.00 - $135 for failed tests.

Is the device big and bulky?
Our competitors require you to wrap up your device in extreme temperatures. Our Interlock XT is discreet, easy to use and temperature resistant.
